A simple and very rich lunch: make chicken, leek and bacon pie

This recipe is ideal for a quiet lunch where you want to cook something easilybut rich and fruitful. We share step by step to prepare homemade dough and filling, delicious!


For measure:

200 grams of ordinary flour

100 grams of cold butter

2 pinches of salt

100 cubic centimeters of very cold water

For the filling:

500 grams of chicken meat, without skin and bones

100 grams of smoked ham in slices

3 large leeks

4 eggs

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of grated cheese

a pinch of salt

3 spoons of water

1- To prepare the dough, mix the flour and butter. With two knives, cut and mix the ingredients until they become coarse sand.

2- Add the salt and water little by little, you don’t necessarily have to carry the full 100 cubic centimeters. When combined, let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.

3- To make the filling, put the butter in a pan on medium heat. Add the well-washed, rootless and thinly sliced ​​leeks and the ham cut into strips.

4- When the vegetables have softened, add the cubed chicken. Adjust them, lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes. Let it cool.

5- Beat the eggs with 3 spoons of water and salt. Roll out the dough and line a 22-centimeter tart pan.

6- Mix the beaten egg with the filling, arrange it in the dough and bake it in a moderate oven for 30 minutes. Just before removing it, put the grated cheese on top.

7- When the dough has turned golden, remove it and serve.
